Mindful Therapy Group in Goodyear, AZ seeks an experienced claim specialist to resolve complex insurance balances and denials, spanning commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers. This in-office role requires ownership of claims from denial to final resolution, with emphasis on Washington Medicaid-related denials and eligibility issues.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on insurance A/R follow-up, payer outreach, and portal research, with strong communication and documentation

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of direct medical insurance A/R follow-up and claim-resolution experience.
• Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed Medicaid claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication with payers, providers, and internal teams.
• Experience using EHR/practice-management systems and payer portals.
• Ability to document thoroughly and maintain accurate claim histories.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage outstanding insurance A/R focusing on denied, rejected, and aged claims (120+ days).
• Analyze denial codes, eligibility, and authorization requirements to determine next actions.
• Submit and track corrected claims, reconsiderations, appeals, and required documentation.
• Communicate with payer representatives to obtain status, details, and commitments.
• Notify providers and internal teams about claim status and required actions.
