Job summary

Aecon is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Tubing Superintendent for the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas. Lead field activities for instrumentation installation, tubing fabrication, testing, and commissioning support to ensure precision, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of instrumentation and tubing construction experience.
• Supervisory or lead role on industrial or semiconductor projects.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation, tubing QA/QC, and calibration basics.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and control drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site instrumentation and tubing construction activities.
• Manage foremen, craft labor, and specialty subcontractors.
• Oversee installation of instrumentation, high-purity tubing, valves, transmitters, and analyzers.
• Ensure tubing installation meets cleanliness, orbital welding, testing, and QA/QC standards.
• Coordinate tubing fabrication, flushing, pressure testing, and documentation.
• Work with project management, electrical, mechanical, and process teams.
