Job summary

Aecon is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman for the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas. You will lead day-to-day electrical field operations, serving as the link between supervision and craft labor to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and schedule compliance across multiple crews.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years of electrical construction and prior General/Lead Foreman experience on large projects, with strong leadership, drawing interpretation, and NEC

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience as a General Foreman or Lead Foreman on large commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (conduit, cable tray, power distribution, grounding).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Must provide a valid Texas TDLR number upon acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multiple electrical foremen and crews.
• Plan, schedule, and execute daily and weekly work activities.
• Ensure work meets drawings, specs, NEC, and site standards.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and material needs.
• Interface with superintendents, project management, and other trades.
• Enforce site safety policies and conduct toolbox talks.
• Monitor productivity and address performance issues.
• Review drawings and plans for conflicts or constructability issues.
• Support inspections, testing, and turnover activities.
• Maintain daily reports and manpower logs.
