Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is hiring a Tech 1, Instrumentation & Controls in Holly Springs, NC. The role focuses on instrumentation, controls maintenance, calibration, and safety compliance to support facility-wide operations.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years I&C experience, an associates degree in engineering, and familiarity with CMMS tools. The position requires 12-hour days/nights and weekend coverage as part of a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems.
• Effective communication, both written and oral.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Support for 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on-call and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs general instrumentation and controls troubleshooting, repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance to site equipment, processes and related instrumentation.
• Performs calibrations to instrumentation and controls.
• Follows procedures to comply with safety and cGMP standards.
• Performs loop checks for new instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Assists with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities and safety protocols.
• Participates in safety training and reports unsafe conditions.
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders as needed.
• Performs spare parts assessments and related duties.
