Job summary
Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Houston seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to perform complete design of complex electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial projects. You will lead design teams, develop 15kV/5kV equipment specifications, and coordinate with vendors, field staff, and discipline leads to ensure technically sound deliverables.
The role requires 6+ years of experience, NEC knowledge, and a strong background in power and control systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer license preferred or may be required.
- 6+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
- Knowledge of NEC and installation design practices.
- Experience with 15kV/5kV systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead design tasks on electrical/instrumentation projects.
- Produce 15kV/5kV equipment specs and installation details.
- Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with discipline leads and project teams to ensure timely completion.
- Provide field support during startup and commissioning.
