Job summary

Burrow Global LLC is seeking instrumentation engineers for a long-term in-plant assignment at a petrochemical facility in Deer Park, TX. You will design, implement, commission and maintain instrumentation systems ensuring safe and efficient plant operation.

You will collaborate with process, electrical, mechanical, safety and operations teams, develop HSE-compliant standards, lead FAT/SAT, and support startup activities while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation.
• Advanced coursework in instrumentation or process safety is a plus.
• Experience with capital projects, plant commissioning, or operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and select instrumentation and control hardware for petrochemical processes.
• Develop process control philosophies, tagging conventions, and instrument standards.
• Create instrument specifications, datasheets, loop diagrams and calibration procedures.
• Lead instrument design for new plants, debottlenecks and revamps; support FEL and detail design.
• Develop FAT/SAT, commissioning plans, and startup assistance.
