Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer at the Hopewell Plant to apply reliability engineering, data analysis, and process improvements to electrical systems and controls. The role leads RCFA teams, supports capital projects, and oversees preventive/predictive maintenance in a fast-paced plant environment.

A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of reliability experience are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a reliability engineer specializing in instrumentation and controls.
Experience in chemical/petrochemical plant maintenance and reliability engineering.
Knowledge of electrical design, repair techniques and performance assessment.
Experience with predictive technologies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and controls.
Lead RCFA teams and apply lean principles to problem solving.
Support capital projects from design to startup.
Develop reliability control plans for electrical systems.
Ensure safety compliance and participate in plant safety programs.
Analyze failures and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance to E&I technicians and contractors.
