Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Sr Tech II in Instrumentation & Controls at Research Triangle Park, NC. You will calibrate and service manufacturing and laboratory instrumentation, install new systems, and support engineering and validation activities in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled calibrations, writing changes to procedures and job plans, and assisting with LOTO safety forms. This role requires strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Education and experience options listed: high school diploma with 3 years experience, military or ISA cert with 2 years, associates with 2 years, bachelor’s with 1 year.
• Experience in a GMP environment is required.
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and control issues.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled calibrations.
• Performs unscheduled corrective calibrations and repairs.
• Installs new instrumentation.
• Provides engineering and validation support.
• Authors changes to procedures, job plans, and LOTO safety forms.
