Job summary

LJA Energy seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to lead instrumentation and controls for oil and gas midstream facilities. You will own engineering deliverables, serve as Engineer of Record, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidate brings PE licensure, 7+ years of relevant experience, and a track record in field instrumentation, control systems, and safety-oriented projects. Houston-office onsite expectations apply during probation and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/Chemical/Controls or related field.
• Active PE license in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Willingness to obtain licensure by comity in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation and controls deliverables for projects.
• Review P&IDs, data sheets, I/O lists, and control system architecture.
• Coordinate with process engineers, vendors, and clients.
• Lead technical direction and quality reviews for instrumentation work.
• Represent LJA in client meetings and site visits.
