Job summary

LJA Energy is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems for midstream oil & gas and public works projects.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team and ensure NEC compliance while coordinating with clients and contractors to meet scope, schedule, and budget. You will oversee power distribution and control architectures, support bidding efforts, review designs, and provide technical direction throughout all project phases,

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years in EIC design.
Experience as engineer of record on midstream oil and gas projects.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems.
Mentor engineers and CAD staff.
Review drawings, specs, and NEC compliance.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers.
Perform power system studies and protective coordination.
Prepare estimates and support business development.
