Job summary

Worley seeks a Principal Instrumentation Controls Systems Engineer in Monrovia, CA to lead detailed I&C design and support for projects. You will deliver instrumentation and controls engineering across medium to mega projects, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety, and uphold quality and schedule requirements.

The role emphasizes control strategies, PLC/DCS programming, I/O lists, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree with related discipline and at least 12 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control deliverables, and industry codes.
• Experience with ARAMCO SAES standards and refinery/gas processing facilities.
• PE registration preferred or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrumentation and controls system engineering services on medium to mega projects with technical team oversight.
• Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements while maintaining safety.
• Interpret client specifications and coordinate with other disciplines and the client.
• Develop control logic and hardware/software integration for process control automation.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities as needed.
