Job summary
Worley Group, Inc. is seeking a Principal Instrumentation Controls Systems Engineer in Monrovia, CA to lead detailed instrumentation and control system design across medium to mega projects. You will support the project team from a technical perspective, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to client specifications.
Experience with SPI, ARAMCO SAES standards, and multiple control systems is required. The role is based at our Monrovia office with potential travel to vendor facilities.
Qualifications
- This role requires an accredited engineering degree with extensive instrumentation and control design experience.
- Experience designing and delivering PLCs, DCS, and HMI/SCADA systems for complex facilities.
- Proficiency in SPI software and understanding of ARAMCO SAES standards is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide instrumentation and controls system engineering services on large projects and lead within the team.
- Ensure design work meets quality, cost, and schedule requirements and is performed safely.
- Interpret client specifications and coordinate with other disciplines and the client.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities as needed.
