Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead process instrumentation and control systems for municipal water, power, and industrial facilities. The role blends design, analysis, and project coordination with client meetings across multiple sites.

You will guide designers, review P&IDs and data sheets, and contribute to budget and cost estimates while maintaining Stanley Consultants QA/QC standards. A strong background in control systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited college; FE exam passed.
• 8+ years progressive experience in control systems engineering.
• Experience with design, analysis, and construction administration; multi-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Technical design and analysis to support project planning and design development.
• Prepare design calculations, quantity estimates, drawings, and specs.
• Direct designers to produce accurate working drawings.
• Evaluate design alternatives based on cost and project needs.
• Coordinate with clients and attend onsite and offsite meetings.
• Assist in developing probable design cost estimates and budgets.
• Document calculations, memos, and meeting notes.
• Maintain Stanley Consultants QA/QC standards.
