Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with 4+ years of direct experience to lead process instrumentation and control system tasks across water/wastewater, power plants, and industrial facilities.

You will design, analyze, and implement DCS/PLC-based solutions, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support project documentation and client communications. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited college; BSEE preferred.
• FE exam taken and passed; PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Technical design, analysis, and cost-effective recommendations for control systems.
• Lead instrumentation and control task teams across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate with clients and site teams during installation and commissioning.
• Prepare design computations, drawings, and technical specifications.
