Job summary

Stanley Consultants invites applications for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer. The role focuses on leading plant control and instrumentation design for water, energy, and industrial projects, with strong PLC/DCS expertise and client coordination.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, prepare detailed specifications and drawings, and support budgets and schedules. Hybrid work options are available in CO, IL, MN, IA, and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited college is required; BSEE preferred.
• FE exam must be taken and passed; PE license preferred but not required.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive engineering experience with design and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of plant control and instrumentation systems.
• Develop and review PLC/DCS-based control architectures and specifications.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage project communications.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for projects.
• Support client meetings, budgets, and design cost estimates.
