Job summary
Tropicana Brands Group is seeking an experienced Trades 7 Instrumentation Tech to support our Electrical team at the Bradenton, FL facility. The role includes planning, laying out, and performing installation, repair, and maintenance across a full range of electrical equipment and circuitry in the plant.
Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in Electrical & Instrumentation with at least 2 years in Instrument, Measurement and Control, plus hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation with 2 years in Instrument, Measurement and Control or equivalent training/experience.
- Must be located in Bradenton, FL area or willing to relocate for duration of employment.
- Onsite full-time role with ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50+ pounds and working in manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair complex electrical equipment including PLCs, VFDs, transformers, and motor control centers.
- Program and troubleshoot VFDs using HIM modules and related tools.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs; read and follow drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
- Disassemble, repair/replace components, reassemble and test to ensure proper operation.
- Follow safety rules and GMPs; document work and maintain records for maintenance activities.
