Job summary

Qualifications

• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience with electrical and automation controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and PLC logic; troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs, variable frequency drives, servo systems, and plant networks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve PLC-based systems and HMIs.
• Inspect and calibrate control devices, sensors, and equipment.
• Read schematics and PLC logic to diagnose faults and verify repairs.
• Coordinate automation projects, including scope and timing.
• Work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and plant leadership to commission equipment.
• Support start-ups, operation, changeovers, and disruptions.
• Update preventive maintenance plans to reduce repeats and improve yield.
• Document work and report improvements to leadership.
• Assist with inspections, audits, vendor repairs, and new equipment installation.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on automation systems.
