Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Instructor for Chillers to design and deliver advanced training across North America. You will teach York chiller curricula, develop materials with instructional designers, and engage customers at institutes and on-site locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years with York chillers, strong writing and facilitation skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience with York chillers, including operational checks and startup.
• Experience in training, coaching or teaching is desirable.
• Articulate writing, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Education or related field.
• Collaborative with IDs, learning professionals and stakeholders.
• Professional ethics and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning sessions, including live classroom and web-based formats.
• Facilitate learning of advanced materials and multiple expertise areas.
• Develop subject matter expertise in new technology and products.
• Arrange appropriate learning environments and equipment.
• Measure training results and provide constructive feedback.
• Update delivery and coaching skills with new technologies.
• Collaborate with design team to create learning solutions on time and budget.
• Maintain and upgrade lab equipment used in training.
