Job summary

Ignite Digital seeks an experienced Lead Instructional Systems Specialist to support a US Navy/US Marine Corps program office in the Orlando region. You will lead the design, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of instructional systems and Programs of Instruction for military and civilian learners.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience), a DoD Secret Clearance, and onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; field must be Education or Instructional Systems.
• Alternative: BA + 15 years of relevant experience or HS diploma + 18 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive Programs of Instruction (POIs) across Navy/USMC specialties.
• Conduct in-depth research to ensure training content is thorough and current.
• Monitor instructional products to determine effectiveness and update content as needed.
• Design cost-effective strategies for developing and delivering training to military and civilian audiences.
• Develop instructional programs, course materials, and measurement instruments.
• Create master instructional plans and modify plans based on system, mission, and learner requirements.
• Conduct task analyses to support POI development and refinement.
• Collaborate with SMEs to design analyses, materials, workbooks, guides, and student support materials.
• Perform instructional analysis to define training objectives and ensure quality across phases.
• Provide QA and peer review of training plans and materials.
