Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Senior Instructional Developer to design and develop engaging learning experiences for USPS software implementation. You will lead the creation of instructor-led and virtual content, collaborating with government agencies and SMEs to translate requirements into effective training.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent understanding and application of all phases of the ADDIE process.
• Knowledge and application of adult learning theory.
• Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance and converting training into 508 compliant products.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support development of instructor led and virtual learning content.
• Collaborate with government agencies, subject matter experts and instructional designers to learn requirements and build training programs and content.
• Drive performance by planning, developing, managing and evaluating in-person, online and hybrid software training programs.
• Utilize delivery modalities such as webinars, web-based training, in-person instructor-led training, user guides, and online help systems.
