Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is hiring an Instructional Developer to design, develop, and deliver innovative learning solutions for government and intelligence programs. The role encompasses in-person, virtual, and e-learning content, with collaboration across SMEs and stakeholders.

You will perform needs analyses, create materials and assessments, ensure accessibility standards are met, and drive continuous improvement through learner feedback and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience developing and delivering instructional products for diverse audiences (federal clients preferred).
• Active or eligibility to obtain DHS U.S. CBP BI Clearance or Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with ADDIE, SAM, and adult learning theories.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and SCORM standards.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508) for learning products.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Experience with MS Teams, WebEx, and Zoom as delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver effective training solutions.
• Conduct training needs analyses and learner assessments to tailor instructional programs.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including storyboards, guides, and e-learning prototypes.
• Design and facilitate interactive learning experiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid modes.
• Leverage learning technologies to deliver high-quality training programs.
• Complete course development tasks per timelines and client requirements; ensure accessibility per Section 508.
• Analyze learner feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvements.
