Job summary

Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks an Instructional Designer to lead analysis, design, and development of complex learning solutions that support laboratory-wide training programs.

In the Office of Technical Training, you will manage projects using the SAT framework, conduct task and context analyses, collaborate with subject matter experts, and deliver engaging, compliant learning experiences across the lab.

Qualifications

• Experience designing materials for technical or compliance learning.
• Ability to apply SAT framework to training projects.
• Experience with task/learner/context analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple training projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and development of complex training programs using SAT.
• Conduct analyses to define learning requirements and objectives.
• Design curricula, assessments, and instructional strategies.
• Coordinate LMS implementation and evaluation activities.
• Mentor junior instructional designers.
