Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to design and develop learning solutions aligned to business goals and workforce performance. You will translate learning objectives into engaging eLearning, ILT, and blended formats for a global audience, collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes strong execution and ongoing capability building in instructional design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in instructional design.
Portfolio or work samples demonstrating instructional design deliverables.
Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Experience creating objectives, storyboards, and scripts for learning solutions.
Proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise) and LMS/SCORM-based content.
Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured learning experiences.
Willingness to travel up to 20% if needed.

Responsibilities

Participate in design sessions with SMEs and stakeholders to clarify learning needs.
Translate objectives into structured learning solutions across eLearning, ILT/vILT, and blended formats.
Design eLearning and blended experiences aligned to program direction; develop storyboards and scripts.
Apply adult learning principles to create engaging training experiences.
Collaborate with SMEs to organize content into structured learning experiences.
Prepare learning assets for LMS deployment and SCORM packaging.
