Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, construction industry and/or corporate experience preferred.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating instructional design deliverables strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and training technology.
• Experience developing learning objectives, storyboards, and instructional scripts.
• Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise) and understanding of how designs translate to development.
• Experience working with LMS, including SCORM‑based content.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs to extract and organize content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design sessions with SMEs and stakeholders to gather input and clarify learning needs.
• Translate objectives and program goals into structured learning solutions across eLearning, ILT/vILT, and blended formats.
• Design eLearning, ILT/vILT, and blended experiences aligned to program direction; develop storyboards and scripts.
• Apply adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to organize content into structured learning.
• Provide guidance during development and review to ensure quality and alignment.
• Prepare learning assets for LMS deployment and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure designs align with branding, standards, and UX guidelines.
• Maintain design documentation and version control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of instructional design practices.
