Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Instructional Designer to design and develop learning solutions aligned to business goals. The role partners with Program Managers, SMEs, and L&D professionals to craft eLearning, ILT, and performance support for a global audience.

You will translate objectives into engaging instructional designs, create storyboards and scripts, and support LMS deployment with SCORM packaging while maintaining branding and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in instructional design, preferably in construction or corporate settings.
• Portfolio with storyboards, scripts, or eLearning deliverables recommended.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design sessions and content workshops with SMEs to gather input.
• Translate learning objectives into structured solutions across eLearning, ILT, and performance support.
• Design eLearning, ILT/vILT, and blended experiences aligned to program direction.
• Apply adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs and internal partners to organize content.
• Prepare assets for LMS deployment and coordinate SCORM packaging.
• Ensure designs align with ACS University branding and standards.
• Maintain design documentation and version control.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
