Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Instructional Designer for Readiness and Associate Experience in Retail Bank. This hybrid role designs and develops diverse learning materials for Bank Operations, Bank Voice, and Customer Protection, translating business needs into engaging digital-first learning experiences.

You will collaborate with SMEs, Designers, and Consultants across the ADDIE process to drive measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• 2+ years designing curriculum or programs using blended learning design and modern learning theories.
• 2+ years designing and developing learning solutions for digital, virtual and classroom settings.
• At least one year of experience with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop content for programs supporting learning needs of Bank Operations, Bank Voice, and Customer Protection.
• Support needs analysis to ensure successful transfer of skills to the job.
• Recommend effective formats that create an optimal learning experience using adult learning principles.
• Work with SMEs to design and develop engaging materials and performance tools (self-study, classroom, e-learning, etc.).
• Demonstrate agility with new learning technologies.
• Partner with project team members to ensure goals are clear and on track.
• Collaborate with other Instructional Designers and Learning Consultants to support ADDIE.
• Take responsibility for tasks with independence while collaborating with the team.
