Job summary

KLA in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced instructional designer to develop training content for hardware service, maintenance, installation, and upgrades, translating technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will lead end-to-end projects, collaborate with R&D, support, and manufacturing, and apply modern instructional design methods to scale training across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Instructional Design.
• 7+ years of experience in technical engineering fields (semiconductor industry preferred).
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop training content and media including storyboards, eLearning modules, and other media for training delivery.
• Design training for hardware service, maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting, part replacement, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with SMEs across functions and geographies (R&D, support, manufacturing) to develop training content.
• Manage projects end-to-end, including planning, monitoring, and change management.
