GDIT is seeking a Senior Instructional Developer in Washington, DC, offering hybrid work. You will lead instructional design teams, develop varied learning programs, and ensure accessibility and quality across web-based and instructor-led formats. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology or related field and 5+ years of experience.

Proficiency with Captivate, Rise 360, Storyline, and ADDIE principles is expected. U.S.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting online learning and other learning technologies.
• Experience leading instructional teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Captivate, Rise 360, Storyline, or other web-based training software.
• Experience using project management tools to plan, track, and manage training projects.

Mansioni

• Designs and develops instructional approaches and interactive courseware that meet training requirements.
• Leads and mentors teams of instructional designers, developers, and multimedia staff, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Participates in developing business strategies for new and existing learning products that meet government training needs.
• Engages with customer leadership, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to gather requirements and builds innovative learning solutions and content.
• Develops section 508 compliant web-based, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led training materials including SCORM-conformant content, instructor guides, student guides, quick reference guides, and supplemental performance support materials.
• Plans, develops, manages, and evaluates in-person, online, and hybrid training programs.
• Supports learning technology initiatives, including webinars, online courses, self-paced e-learning, and streaming video.
• Prepares program content and messaging (course descriptions, learning objectives, outreach communications).
• Contributes to business proposals and contract reporting activities as needed.
