Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Senior Institutional Relationship Manager - Retirement Solutions to own strategic account management for defined retirement plans, typically $25M–$150M in assets. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams, deepen client and advisor relationships, and drive profitability while navigating extensive collaboration across Nationwide products.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business or finance preferred.
• FINRA licenses 6/63/65 or 7/66 required within designated time period.
• 5 years in financial services with at least 3 years focused on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisor/consultants.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with mid-market plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, and other service providers.
• Lead the integrated service team to grow and retain key relationships.
• Conduct annual to quarterly Committee Meetings to discuss health, engagement and enhancements of plans.
• Partner with Finance and Investment Management to increase profitability through Nationwide products.
• Oversee onboarding and transition meetings to ensure smooth onboarding for plans and participants.
• Champion Nationwide capabilities to drive plan efficiency and participant outcomes.
