Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Prime Sales Trader to join the Institutional Prime Trading team in New York. You will deliver top-tier execution and liquidity solutions to institutional clients, including asset managers and hedge funds.

The ideal candidate has over 3 years of trading experience with strong options trading skills and the ability to manage client relationships efficiently. The position requires weekend availability and offers an annual salary range between $157,590 and $185,400, along with equity and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales/trading experience in digital assets, FX, equities, credit or derivatives.
• Strong options trading capability with fluency in Greeks and volatility dynamics.
• Proven ability to build counterparty relationships with institutional clients.
• Experience creating market commentary covering macro, crypto or digital asset themes.
• Weekend availability required with a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive increased trading volume by understanding clients' liquidity needs.
• Build and maintain trusted counterparty relationships.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to monetize new client relationships.
• Provide structured feedback to Product Managers for new product development.
• Maintain real-time market sentiment and trading activity analysis.
