Job summary

Coinbase in New York offers a 12-week summer internship in Sales, Trading, and Prime (STP) within the Institutional team. You will rotate through Sales, Account Management, Execution Services, Financing, Solutions Architecture, and Research to gain a comprehensive view of institutional client needs.

You will analyze data, prepare market commentary, and create client materials while tracking opportunities and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the crypto/blockchain industry and ability to contextualize market trends for institutional audiences.
Experience with crypto ecosystems (self-custody, DeFi, staking, trading) through personal use, coursework, or projects.
Prior experience in a sales or business development role with a track record of generating leads and building relationships.
Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured written deliverables such as research summaries, presentations, or market analysis.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

Rotate across STP functions to gain a comprehensive view of institutional client needs.
Analyze data for trends and opportunities; produce competitor analysis and market commentary.
Create pitchbooks and outreach materials for client presentations and high-value prospects.
Triage inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and track progress across campaigns.
Research and propose process improvements to grow the STP business.
