Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Derivative Sales Analyst to lead relationships with top VIP derivatives traders across futures, options, and perpetuals. You will source new high-value traders, re-engage dormant accounts, and bring insights to Product, Risk, and Marketing to shape advanced trading offerings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or business development experience in financial services, trading, or crypto.
• Fluency in derivatives products (futures, options, perps) with relevant experience.
• Data-driven with dashboards, CRMs, and basic analytics.
• Background in finance-related field or equivalent experience with trading clients.
• Pre-existing network of institutional derivatives traders preferred.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with top VIP derivatives traders, driving volume and engagement.
• Source and convert high-value traders from competitor venues through outbound campaigns.
• Monitor derivatives market structure and client flows to identify upsell opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline and forecast, reporting KPIs and documenting interactions in CRM.
• Reactivate dormant top traders using data-driven incentives to restore volume.
• Develop AI-powered workflows for pipeline prioritization and outreach personalization.
