EXP in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Senior Inspector to oversee field inspections of roadway construction, drainage and erosion control. You will ensure MOT compliance, document daily activities, and coordinate inspection staff.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree and GDOT certifications, with several years of transportation inspection experience. This is an on-site role in Georgia with opportunities to contribute to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in civil engineering or civil engineering technology with requisite field experience.
• Certification requirements include GDOT WECS, GDOT Field Concrete Technician, and erosion control credentials.
• Experience with highway inspection, traffic control and MOT inspections is expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight and coordination of inspection personnel on the project.
• Perform daily field inspections of roadway construction activities including earthwork, grading, base, paving, drainage and erosion control.
• Inspect MOT/traffic control operations for compliance with plans, standards and contracts.
• Verify proper installation and maintenance of traffic control devices and signage.
• Monitor contractor safety and impacts to the traveling public; document daily activities and quantities.
• Evaluate and sign off on CPIs and ensure NCRs are processed for nonconforming work.

GDOT WECS

GDOT Field Concrete Technician Certification

GSWCC Level 1a (Erosion Control)

NECIT Level III Certification or ASCE Equivalent
