Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company in Alaska seeks an Inspector III to assure mechanical integrity of pressure vessels, boilers, piping and tanks. You will supervise visual and NDE examinations, coordinate with engineers, contractors and inspectors, and ensure regulatory compliance across Alaska assets.

You will review inspection results, manage schedules, and oversee contractor NDE personnel while supporting annual budgets and project scopes. Offshore travel and Arctic work are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Ten years of industrial inspection experience required.
• Ability to navigate applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with NBIC-23; OSHA PSM; ASME; API 570, 650, 653, 12R1, 14E, 14C & RP 2A-WSD, API 1104; STI SP 001 & 031; UL-142; CFR 192 & 195; 30 CFR Part 250.

Responsibilities

• Manages regulatory piping, tank, boiler and pressure vessel inspection programs.
• Create and maintain yearly inspection scopes using inspection databases.
• Provide yearly inspection schedules to Mechanical Integrity Manager and inspection requirement packages to contract inspectors.
