Prince William County is seeking a Special Inspections Senior Engineer for a mix of office and field work. You will review construction drawings, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with the Virginia Building Code.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of related experience.
- Must be EIT (Engineer in Training) and must become certified by the Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development within 18 months as Commercial Building Inspector.
- Must become certified as a Residential Building Inspector within 36 months of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a DMV records check.
Responsibilities
- Mix of office review of drawings and field site visits to verify construction compliance with approved plans.
- Provide technical information and guidance to internal and external customers to ensure public safety.
- Perform quality assurance to ensure building code compliance and proper testing at sites.
