Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking an Insights Editor to scale its blockchain intelligence content engine. You will lead data-driven intelligence products, including reports, briefs, and insights blogs, to increase TRM's share of voice and establish us as the trusted public source on crypto-related financial crime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, International Relations, Government, Economics, Security Studies, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years of professional experience in writing and editing data- or research-driven content (investigative reporting, think tank / policy research, intelligence analysis, or similar).
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, structure, and style, with a proven ability to simplify complex material without sacrificing accuracy.
• Demonstrated experience editing others' work for clarity, narrative coherence, and tone, including providing constructive feedback to subject-matter experts.
• Strong research and fact-checking skills; comfortable working with both quantitative data and qualitative sources (OSINT, court filings, enforcement actions).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead intelligence product development: Generate, scope, edit, and distribute intelligence products for public and private distribution.
• Write, edit, and de-risk content: Author and edit intelligence products for clarity, structure, style, and impact.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders: Work with threat intelligence, data science, policy, and marketing to identify impactful stories.
• Operate and improve the production engine: Manage project plans, milestones, and stakeholder communication; ensure consistent narrative spine.
