Job summary

Material is seeking a Senior Associate, Insights (Technology Industry) for a hybrid role based near our offices in Los Angeles, Austin, or New York City. The position supports day-to-day insights engagements with an emphasis on quality, client impact, and growth within the tech sector.

You will develop questionnaires, manage field operations, run data and QC tasks, and help create influential deliverables to guide clients’ decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Marketing, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of market research experience required.
• Quantitative or Mixed-Methods Insights experience preferred.
• Experience and understanding of basic concepts of market research.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with drive to impact team and clients.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Initiative to grow as a manager and leader.
• Positive attitude and growth mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Questionnaire development and publishing support.
• Link testing and data QC.
• Field management with internal teams/field partners.
• Data running and tabulation.
• Field management to address quality control issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Creation and support of building deliverables including slide creation, charting and data QC.
• Involvement in writing and synthesis.
