Job summary

CSS in Rockford, IL is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Representative to grow existing customer accounts and upsell products and services. You will own a book of larger, more complex accounts and collaborate with outside sales to hit overall targets.

This role emphasizes proactive selling, market awareness, and strong communication. You will work with a team, report trends, and may lead other ISRs in process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–5 years of sales experience and knowledge of inside sales processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Meets and exceeds performance measurements based on volume budgets, profitability, penetration, efficiency objectives.
• Markets products and offers value-added services.
• Develops strong business relationships in growing existing accounts, prospects for opportunities within account base.
• Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, national accounts.
• Keeps abreast of new products and acquires and shares competitive knowledge.
• Reports industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.
• May function as the lead for other ISRs with respect to processes, systems, customers, etc.
