Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Senior Inpatient Case Manager, RN to lead inpatient case management and discharge coordination. This is a full-time, day-shift role with on-call duties including holidays and weekends.

Education options: RN-Bachelor’s, RN-Master’s, or RN-Doctorate. Licenses: RN license (compact/multi-state or Virginia). Required: 3 years of nursing and 3 years in case management; BLS; CM certifications within one year.

Senior Inpatient Case Manager RN

Full Time & Day Shift

40 hours/week

Hours

• Mon-Fri - Hours: -8:00 4:30 PM with on-call commitments to include holidays and weekends

Education

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree OR
• RN-Master’s Degree OR
• RN-Doctorate Degree

Certification/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC) certification required within one year of eligibility

Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience (required)
• 3 years Case Management experience (preferred)

Healthcare experience refers to the care delivered in one of the following settings: hospital or an acute care facility

Senior Inpatient Case Manager, RN: Assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service for inpatient case management. Assist supervisor for assigned site/function. Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed. Maintains fiscal accountability for departmental activities. Provides feedback on hiring and evaluations of personnel. Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $101,483.20 - $138,548.80 annually.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
