The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Executive Underwriter for Inland Marine to join a high-performing team. The role offers hybrid work options in Bloomington, MN, Brookfield, WI, or Iowa, and requires leadership in underwriting excellence and portfolio management.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, drive production targets, mentor junior underwriters, and collaborate with agents to grow and retain profitable business while adhering to regulatory requirements and company

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent; professional designations preferred.
• 10+ years of Inland Marine underwriting experience, with broad underwriting experience across numerous classes of business.
• Strong proficiency with underwriting, book management, marketing, and product development.
• Ability to coach underwriters and balance multiple priorities in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills are essential; effective face-to-face interactions and presentations, plus strong written communications.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of the organization.
