Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Production Test & Calibration/Injection Molding support role in DeLand, FL. The job focuses on operating and troubleshooting injection molding equipment, setting up the floor, and assisting with molding validations to ensure quality and process control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with injection molding processes ( polypropylene and polyethylene resins preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process injection molding machines to run mold processes within validated parameters.
• Troubleshoot injection molding processes using scientific molding techniques.
• Setup the production floor and monitor kanban/shop order levels.
• Assist engineering with molding validations following company procedures and using scientific molding techniques.
• Attend tier meetings and communicate floor needs to management to drive continuous improvement.
• Process injection molding machines to run mold processes within validated parameters.
• Set molds in machines when needed safely using a hoist and proper clamping method.
• Assist in root cause investigations for quality defects on the floor.
