Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Set-Up Technician in Westminster, CO to prepare and optimize production runs. You will pull and set molds, cycle machines, start-up parts, troubleshoot alarms, and perform basic mold and machine maintenance using cranes, forklifts and hand tools.

This role requires five years in manufacturing or equivalent, injection molding experience or strong mechanical aptitude, supervision skills, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to improve hardware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Injection molding experience or strong mechanical aptitude and tooling knowledge.
• Demonstrated aptitude for supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot visual and dimensional defects.
• Train lower-level technicians to develop their careers.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and program new automation.
• Assist on special projects.
• Lead floor activities with Leads, Quality, Process Engineering and operators.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement to hardware performance and efficiency.
• Maintain clean work area and proper inventory of hardware and tools.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
