Job summary

Cadrex Westminster is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Set‑Up Technician to prepare machines for production, set up molds, run pre‑established processes, and troubleshoot alarms. You will lead on the floor, coordinate with Leads, Quality, and Process Engineering, and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, injection molding or strong mechanical aptitude, and solid supervision and teamwork abilities. Onsite in Colorado, with a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Injection molding experience or mechanical aptitude with tools.
• Demonstrated supervision capabilities and leadership on the floor.
• Detail‑oriented with strong quality and accuracy focus.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot visual and dimensional defects.
• Train lower‑level technicians to develop their careers.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and program new automation.
• Assist on special projects and lead floor priorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve hardware performance.
• Maintain clean, organized area and ensure safety protocols.
