US Conec, Ltd. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Mold Maker to perform maintenance, changeovers, and occasional repairs on injection molding tools. You will support production with tooling expertise and drive efficient tool room operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 8+ years in tooling/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
• Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to listen and discuss in an open, positive manner.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and short deadlines.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
• Experience with Hot Manifold systems (Mold Master, Manner, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Performs injection mold preventative maintenance and insert changes.
• Maintains accurate log of preventative maintenance and insert changes.
• Identifies tooling deficiencies and notifies Tooling Lead.
• Participates in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and damage.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Leads creation and maintenance of TPI’s (work instructions, photos, historical logging, revision control).
• Leads tool room organization and mold spare components management.
• Identifies and elevates tool/equipment needs to Tooling Lead.
• Supports production operations as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
