Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Mold Maker to perform maintenance, changeover and occasional repairs on injection molding tools. You will maintain PM logs, lead tooling documentation, and support production with tooling leadership guidance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in tooling/manufacturing, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 8+ years in tooling/manufacturing.
  • Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with Hot Manifold systems such as Mold Master, Manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform injection mold preventive maintenance and insert changes.
  • Maintain logs of maintenance and changes.
  • Identify tooling deficiencies and notify the Tooling Lead.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis of tooling issues.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Lead creation and maintenance of technical process instructions and documentation.
  • Support tool room organization and spare components management.
  • Identify and request tooling and infrastructure needs.
  • Provide support to production operations as needed.

Senior Mold Maker
Position Overview:

US Conec is seeking a skilled Senior Mold Maker to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you’ll complete maintenance, changeover and occasional repairs to injection molding tools.

Job Responsibilities:
  • - Performs injection mold preventative maintenance and insert changes in support of production with diligence and accuracy.
  • - Maintains accurate log of preventative maintenance and insert changes.
  • - Identifies tooling deficiencies during preventative maintenance and notify Tooling Lead.
  • - Participates in root-cause analysis of tooling breakage and/or damage to assess corrective actions.
  • - Ensures a clean, organized, and safe work environment always.
  • - Leads creation, organization, and maintenance of TPI’s, including work instructions, photo- documentation, historical logging, and revision control.
  • - Participates and lead tool room organization, including mold spare components, standard components (fasteners, pins, buy-outs).
  • - Identifies and elevates tool, equipment, and other infrastructure needs to the Tooling Lead.
  • - Provides support to production operations (Molding, Special Ops, Production) as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • - Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
Must Have's
  • - High school education/GED
  • - 8+ years of related experience in tooling/manufacturing environment.
  • - Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
  • - Solid understanding of the injection molding process.
  • - Strong attention to detail and willing to listen and discuss in an open, positive manner.
  • - Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision.
  • - Ability to work with quickly changing priorities and short deadlines.
  • - Ability to successfully communicate with internal and external customers.
  • - Experience with Hot Manifold systems Example: Mold Master, Manner, etc.
