Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee venous access and infusion therapy within a full-time Day shift. You will guide staff, develop care plans, and ensure safety and quality while mentoring the team.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and leadership experience in acute care. Strong communication, clinical knowledge, and adherence to regulatory standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1+ year of charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans per patient response.
• Assess conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access needs.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor staff, organize educational programs, and foster development.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Mentor and precept new staff with practical training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
