Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a seasoned RN to lead a unit in Florida and oversee venous access and infusion care. You will mentor staff, improve clinical performance, and ensure regulatory compliance, while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN with leadership experience and licensure in Florida.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to mentor staff.
• Experience with infusion therapy and venous access procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to select venous access methods and manage complications.
• Develop individualized care plans for venous access and infusion patients.
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Lead nursing staff performance reviews and improvement plans.
• Mentor staff and foster professional development.
• Ensure regulatory and hospital policy compliance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to improve care and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams.
• Precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
