Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a Nurse Leader/Charge Nurse to oversee venous access and infusion therapy services. You will supervise staff, ensure patient safety, and drive quality improvements across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and provide feedback.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training.
