Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite, under physician plan of care and supervisor guidance.

The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and education, with opportunities to mentor Infusion Nurse I’s and collaborate with the clinical team to improve care continuity. Requires RN licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Educates patients and families for independence with prescribed therapy.
• Maintains clinical documentation in real-time and ensures timely billing.
