Job summary

IPolarity seeks a Senior Infrastructure Technical Writer to produce internal support documentation for enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms. You will research requirements for new builds, create Visio diagrams, and collaborate with engineers to gather build information for comprehensive documentation.

You will publish HTML knowledge articles and MS Word references, host WebEx turnover sessions, and participate in peer reviews within a centralized documentation team.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English.
• Ten years minimum experience producing technical documentation.
• Strong Visio diagramming skills/experience.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds.
• Create and maintain Visio flow diagrams illustrating transaction traffic patterns, network connectivity, and components.
• Collaborate with distributed engineers to gather technical build information for documentation.
• Publish documentation for two audiences in an HTML knowledge base and MS Word.
• Host WebEx documentation turnover sessions for Operations Support teams.
• Participate in peer reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the documentation team.
